http://ift.tt/1ykdu9Y Nineteen illegal immigrants are feared to have drowned after the boat they were travelling in with 80 others capsized in the waters off Tanjung Piai in Johor, early today. State Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Mohd Rizal Buang said they received the distress call about the incident, which occurred about three nautical miles off Pulau Pisang, at 1.33 am. He said the boat capsized after colliding with the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency's patrol boat in an operation, dubbed Ops Tumpas. "We managed to rescue 61 people, but two of them died (a man and a woman), while 10 others were injured. They were taken to Sultanah Aminah Hospital for treatment," he told Bernama. The search and rescue operation to find the missing victims is ongoing. – Bernama, July 15, 2014. - See more at: http://ift.tt/1zDKnA4
