Steering lock Kiki gets community service and RM 5,000 fine - The Rakyat Post

Kuantan, July 22

Siti Fairrah Ashyikin Kamaruddin, or Kiki, 30, who was charged for bullying a senior citizen, has been fined RM5,000 and ordered to do community service for 240 hours.

Kiki, of Felda Lepar, was given the sentence after pleading guilty at the Kuantan Sessions Court today.
She was charged under Section 427 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum of two years’ jail or fine or both.

Kiki, a wedding planner, gained notoriety for damaging Sim Siak Heong’s car with a steering lock on July 14.

Judge Datuk Zainal Abidin Kamaruddin, in delivering the sentence, advised Siti Fairrah to be more patient and learn to contain her temper.

He said Siti Fairrah should behave like a lady and not a road bully.

The judge also said she was lucky that Sim did not demand for compensation for the damages on his car.
Siti claimed that she had become too emotional after the incident and did not think about the consequences of her actions.

She also said she was traumatised by the incident as a result of the notoriety she gained and the abuse she had received.
