KUALA LUMPUR : A non- governmental organisation today called upon the government to re-consider its proposal to decriminalise criticism of the government . Martabat Jalinan Muhibbah Malaysia’ s (MJMM) leader Abdul Rani Kulup Abdullah suggested that the general public had no right to criticise the government. “Who are they? We already have the MPs to slug it out . We can also view the debates on TV now so why do we need to add to it and start criticising ?” he asked, according to a report in the Malay Mail Online.
